— I use painting to hold multiple layers of meaning in simultaneous tension —

The world exists in a state of contingency, and much of what we experience resists language.
For me, painting is a way to engage with and share this wordless texture of reality.

I reject both the reduction of art to sociological illustration and the abandonment of meaning to pure abstraction.
A painting must exist first as an Object, holding intention and accident at once.
In this simultaneous layering — where unease and beauty coexist —
I find my reality, and why painting is the form I choose.
